I came across this and thought it was a great guild line for men to follow and what qualities we as women should look for in the men we decide to keep in our company

“- Embrace your imperfections
- Laugh at yourself. A woman likes a man who doesn’t take himself too serious.
- Fix or build something with your hands. It’ll show her that you are capable of taking care of a home.
- Know how to cook and clean. It’ll show her that you don’t need her but that you WANT her.
- Get your passport and travel. A man needs to see the world.
- Communicate without cursing. You don’t need to curse to make a point. Cursing shows lack of substance.
- In bed, take care of your woman first. When she’s satisfied you are DA MAN!!!
- Stay in shape. It’ll show her that you care about yourself and therefore are able to care about her.
- Take care of your responsibilities. Anything less is unacceptable. A boy is irresponsible, not a man.
- Open her her door and pull out her chair. It shows her that you honor traditional values. Trust me, she will do the same.
- Be present! Take her in with your eyes and ears. Your attention will make her feel loved and she won’t ever nag you.
- Read a f—ing book! (Sorry, violation of ‘no cursing’ rule) But seriously, ignorance is a major turn-off. Book on tape will do.
- Have an ambition. You don’t need to be rich but you need to show direction and motivation. Keep a job!
- Last one for today: Treat a woman the way you would want your daughter to be treated. Anything less is unacceptable.”

Alone But Never Lonely....

When I seen this all I could do was shake my head. I think we as females often get ourselves SOOOO caught and wrapped up in the men that we allow in our company, that we forget who we are and what we stand for individually. We get so indulged  that we just can't fathom who we would be and what our life would be like if one day they decided to remove them selves from our equation. Often  we go against our best judgment and take first class seats on the stupid buss just to do any and everything in our power to make sure that never happens and we never have to experience what it's like to be alone. We make "on a whim" decisions like getting their name tattooed on our body, consenting to and often prompting  a pregnancy, dropping out of school to be closer to them, moving in with them or more-often letting them move in with us, become their sole provider and supporter finically, letting them use our car while we take the bus, allow them to treat and talk to us any kind of way, all the while making excuses for his actions and the list goes on and on.... We all have done something in life to dumb ourselves down in order for our relationship status on Facebook to not read single.  But its time the we start learning how to and  be  more confident in who we are as women. We need to find our inner ME and learn that that's all we need. Stop harvesting this crazy mentality within our selves that just because we may find ourselves being single, it does not mean that we are inadequate or less than a woman without the relationship of a man. But most important I need for us to stop riding the stupid bus for a while and start making better decisions when it comes to our lives and the relationships we keep.

STOP getting tattoos that will last forever of men that we know for a fact aren't about nothing and probably never had any intentions on staying with you any longer than two weeks.

STOP figuring out ways to get yourself pregnant by a man who has no job, place of own, goals on become something or plans that he can soon put into motion. And FYI if he already has 3 kids by 3 other babies mommas, that he doesn't see or do anything for, 9 times out of 10 your baby will not become the GOLDEN child and/or exception to the rule.

STOP dropping out of school just so you can be closer to your man. That has to be dumbest thing a woman could ever do in life. Any man that allows or suggest that you do this is not the one for you. Plus how do you plan on bettering your relationship if you already given up and failed on bettering yourself? No one is guaranteed to be in your life forever but Jesus and even he wouldn't tell you to do something stupid like that.

STOP shaking up with these men who are not and have NO INTENTIONS on being your husband. If your apartment gives you a better commitment (i.e. 1 year lease) than your man can (i.e. no ring and guaranteed future with one other) than I would definitely re-think that whole scenario. That will only bring more trouble and add more confusion to your already shaky relationship.

STOP giving all your hard earned money to a man that can't get out and get his own. You need to tell your man that he needs to stop being TOMMY (Martin reference) and go out and get job!

STOP letting him ride around in YOUR car while out there walking or taking the bus. He ain't Jody and You ain't Yevette, get YOUR car back.... I STOLE MY CAR JODY!!!

Last and most important, STOP allowing these men to talk to you and treat you any kind of way. A man is only going to do what is allowed and tolerated. So if you don't have any standards for yourself I suggest you figure some out and start applying them to your life and the way you allow others to treat you. Know that you were beautifully and wonderfully made. A divine creature with great attributes and are seen as a Queen in someones eyes. If your man doesn't treat you like royalty, I am more than positive that their is someone out there who will.

My Must Have Beauty Products for Summer

Hey Y’all!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, I know I'm in a great mood; everything is good, and most important I have faith that it will be beautiful day in Seattle (let's all keep our fingers crossed). It's Friday and I know that ole Mr. Sun will finally decided to grace us with his presence this weekend and will shine all over The Town. So with the sun out and me just coming back from my mini vacay to Houston, TX (which it was 95 degrees and above everyday)I thought I would share some of my favorite summer beauty products with you. These are truly some things you shouldn’t go without this season:

Bronzer .  If you’re like me and unable to get that tanned summery glow to your skin, bronzer is a great fix. It

adds beautiful warmth and depth to the skin and helps give you that Sun Goddess look that essential for the season. Plus for those days when you really don’t feel like putting on any heavy foundation just apply some bronzer instead for a light sun-kissed look.

Try: Covergirl Queen Collection has three beautiful bronzers that really stand out on all shades of brown. I also like Maybelline’s Dream Matt Mouse Bronzer.

Bright Lips. These are SOOO in right now but in all actuality when are they not “in”? The color I fell in love with for summer and that you should try are shades of coral and orange. I have seen variations of these shades on many people with many different skin tones and it really complimented them all. If you really what to add some pop to your make-up try a bright lip and it’s guaranteed to do the trick.

Bright Coral Blush. I can’t mention coral lips without then directing you to coral cheeks. This bright and refreshing look is GREAT for this summer… Coral is really a color that not only perks up your look, but just like the lip color it also looks great on all skin tones.  

Try: Maybelline’s Sweet Melon Blush (limited edition) from their FIT collection. This is what I’m currently wearing and I feel it does wonders for my skin…. 

Bright Neon Nail Polish: Bright neon colors are truly the way to go for this summer even when it comes to your nails.  Vibrant colors like neon yellow, florescent green and hot pink will help your fingertips shine and stand out just like the sun, on these bright summer days.  

Sunscreen: I could not give you my summer essentials without adding sunscreen. This is so important and could possibly be my #1 product that I can’t live without during the hotter months of the year. Sunscreen is supposed to help protect you from harmful UVA and UVB rays which cause skin disease and cancers. Also with proper use it can slow down some signs of aging. So make sure if you’re planning on spending a day in the sun, you protect your skin with sunscreen.   

So those are my Must Have Beauty Products for this summer. Be sure to let me know what you think and if you try any of them out write back to tell me how they worked for you. Lastly remember summer is your time to try out new colors in make-up, sweet and crisper smells in perfumes, wilder hair styles, and cooler clothes. So if nothing else try to be a little more BOLD and step outside your comfort zone.

FIERCE FRIDAY.....

Today I decided to add a new layer to the Pie and introduce Fierce Friday's. I will use this section to shine some light on people that definitely are making a statement and catch my attention... Since I just got back from my vacation in Houston (wonderful I might add) I thought I would share some pictures from the party I went to Saturday night. 

This was truly was an event to remember. Me and my girls really enjoyed ourselves and had a GREAT time. Here are some of the people I seen who really stood out and showed me how they Step-Out in H-Town:

How Did They Beat The Murder Cases Because They Were Definitely Killin Them.

Last week I told about some of events that would be taking place in The Town last weekend. Well me and the rest of the lovely ladies of WE ALL WE GOT (if you don't know about us, I SUGGEST YOU FIND OUT) decided to step out Friday night and make an appearance at Terrence Williams birthday party. The party took place at Ibiza Night Club located in Downtown Seattle and it truly was fun filled event. The promoters (shout out to First Class Ent. and the Good Life Inc) said it was gonna be a movie and that's exactly what it turn out to be, a star studded Motion Picture. I'm telling y'all don't sleep on Seattle and our night life. WE GET IT IN!!!
