Monday Inspiration

Happy Monday My Loves!!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mines was up and down but I woke up today with a smile and willing attitude to take on whatever may come my way. Lately, I have been battling a lot in my personal life but regardless of everything I may be going through, I am determined to keep a positive attitude through it all. I feel that the support of my family and close friends has really helped me through it all and has given me an abundance of appreciation for the life I live. It’s great to know that whether you're flying high or seem like you're crashing to your low, there are people in your corner that will support you 100%... It really doesn't get any better than that.

ME STRIPPED: fresh out the shower, face and hair just washed. NO make-up, NO weave, NOT EVEN LIP GLOSS. JUST ME IN MY NATURAL STATE.

Hey Loves, today while I was listening to some music trying to relax the Bruno Mars song "Just the Way You Are" came on. Now this is a song I have heard and sang along to more times than I can count but today I actually sat back and listened to the lyrics and I realized how beautiful of a song it truly is. In the song Bruno expresses to the woman he loves that everything about her from her eyes, to her smile, her hair, to the way she laughs is what makes him feel the way he does. He lets her know that her being just the way she is makes her perfect to him,"You know, you know, you know I'll never ask you to change. If perfect is what you're searching for then just stay the same".... And I personally think that's how every woman would like to be viewed by the men in their lives. To be confident in knowing that you have found that special someone who loves, appreciates, and will always be there by your side unconditionally. I know as women we sometimes find ourselves getting hung up on trying to appear perfect to everyone who we come into contact with. We spend extra time making sure our make-up is applied just right, our hair is curled that special way we like it, and our outfits are put together without flaw, but what a feeling it will be to know that someone is in your corner that sees past all those less important features you create and sees the beauty you poses when everything is stripped away. To have someone who is  honest and genuine when telling you "When I see your face, there's not not a thing that I would change; Cause you're amazing just the way you are and when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while; Cause girl your amazing just the way you are" would make any woman feel like the Queen that he sees. My hope is that every woman will get to experience that unconditional, true, and unchanging feeling of love. To be apart of a friendship set on fire that enhances the relationship and comforts the soul. Love should be experienced not just felt.


In closing I want you all to remember that if we do nothing else we must learn how to understand the people we include our lives. Everyone is not perfect and we all have our flaws and short comings.
